Responsibilities

  • Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs- in a variety of on-campus and online formats-lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools.
  • Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years' clinical experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience providing clinical supervision
  • Research and Clinical Statement: Please describe the focus of your research and/or clinical expertise.
  • Please also describe any clinical work or research you have undertaken with students, with the external community, and/or with individuals from marginalized groups.

  • The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Northeastern University offers minors, a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP).
  • The MS-SLP program is offered on the Boston and Charlotte campuses and is a 60-credit ASHA accredited degree program.
  • ASHA Certification by appointment start date
  • Massachusetts State License by appointment start date.
  • Teaching experience in higher education preferred

Compensation

  • 52-week Salary Ranges: Assistant Clinical Professor: $89,000.00 - $118,000.00 | Associate Clinical Professor: $108,000.00 - $154,000.00
  • With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
  • Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
