Responsibilities
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly.
- Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required
- Ability to independently lift between 50-75 pounds
- Monroe Tractor is a well-known and respected construction equipment and agricultural equipment dealer with over 75 years of experience servicing the northeastern US.
- The Road Diesel Technician is a technician who preferably has experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- This person will be required to have mechanical expertise, including diesel, to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
- Strong independent work ethic but also able to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent customer service skills; a builder of relationships
- Clear and concise communications
- A strong sense of urgency, focusing on time
- Computer skills
Nice to have
- Prior experience in heavy construction equipment or agriculture equipment is preferred
Compensation
- $22.44 - $38.85/Hourly (Per Union Wage Schedule) *Pay Range is commensurate with class experience and negotiable*
