About the role

The successful candidate will advise on diverse legal issues impacting the business, including commercial contracting, strategic partnerships, licensing matters, and certain athlete and talent agreements.
The role offers broad exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and growing global business.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support across a broad range of commercial, corporate, and operational matters impacting the Fanatics Collectibles business.
Partner with members of the Legal team to support athlete and talent relationships, commercial transactions, and other business priorities, as appropriate.
Contribute to the development and refinement of policies, processes, and best practices to support legal operations and risk management across the organization.
In addition to drafting and negotiating agreements, this role will support issue-spotting, risk assessment, contract interpretation, and practical problem-solving across ongoing business operations.

Requirements

5-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably a combination of law firm and/or in-house experience with exposure to commercial and general corporate matters.
Experience advising business stakeholders on a broad range of legal issues, including commercial contracting, risk assessment, and operational matters.
Sound business judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently within a lean legal team.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and provide practical, solutions-oriented advice.

Nice to have

Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a variety of commercial agreements
experience with licensing, marketing, vendor, or partnership agreements preferred.
Experience supporting sports, entertainment, licensing, or athlete/talent-related matters is a plus but not required.

Compensation

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
