About the role
- RL James is looking for a skilled and professional Glass Installer to join our team in the Sarasota Bradenton area.
- This is a field-based role for someone who takes pride in clean, precise work, communicates well with customers and crew, and holds themselves to a high standard in every job.
- You will be responsible for completing glass installation assignments at commercial job sites, safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and secure all tools and materials on the truck at the end of each day.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in glass installation, glazing, or a closely related field required.
- Ability to read work orders, verify measurements, and ensure accuracy before and during installation.
- Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently in the field.
- Valid driver's license required
- must be able to operate a company vehicle.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Nice to have
- Ability to work at heights and on elevated access systems
- experience with swing stage or aerial lift equipment is a plus.
