- Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator - Leel 2 or 3 to join our team based in Aurora, CO at the Buckley Space Force Base.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
- Support multiple networks.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
Requirements
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
- Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization.
- Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience
- Master's degree with 0 years of related experience.
- An additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have Current/Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher at time of application
- Must have at least 1 year of server administration experience with RHEL
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience
- Master's degree with 3 years of related experience
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Information Assurance processes for various USG classified networks
- Experience of Active Directory forests, including root and child domains,
- Experience of cross platform networks consisting of Linux, UNIX and Windows Servers
- Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation
- $83,400.00 - $125,200.00
- $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
