About the role
- They will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and variance reports as requested.
Responsibilities
- Support business unit and manufacturing groups with cost, manufacturing and inventory analysis.
- Support on HC and other COGS/Mfg Variance P&L Forecast in Adaptive.
- Validate GAAP and non-GAAP P&L results by performing detailed analysis of 'cost of sales'
- Support Product/Customer margin analysis by reviewing, correcting and reconciling SAP transactions that drive detailed corporate and business unit P&L reporting.
- Support the analysis of variances incurred during production and purchasing activities by reviewing production order variances and PPV
- Support the maintenance material cost updates, activity and overhead rate updates
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing process from raw to finished goods and cost of sales
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.
- Validate vendor reconciliations performed by our logistics group and follow-up as required
Nice to have
- 6+ years professional cost accounting experience in manufacturing environment (experience in semiconductor industry or similar electronics manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience in large ERP systems (SAP environment preferred)
