  • The Electrical Asset Engineer provides day-to-day engineering and technical support for assigned generating assets.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant, while supporting plant operations through troubleshooting, design improvements, and continuous optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • In order to be considered for this role you must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

  • Providing electrical engineering support to plant operations and maintenance teams
  • Designing and managing execution of electrical repairs, upgrades, and system modifications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical equipment and system issues
  • Interpreting and applying electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Supporting predictive and preventative maintenance programs to improve asset reliability
  • Analyzing equipment performance and recommending design or process improvements
  • Participating in and leading small to moderately complex engineering projects
  • Collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and external contractors to ensure successful execution of work
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to Engineers-in-Training (EITs) or junior engineers
  • Supporting Management of Change processes and engineering governance requirements
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) culture
