About the role

The priorities of this position are to provide top-notch customer service and promote Matrix products.
This position is based out of our home office in Newburgh, IN.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Field Operations.

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe.
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing support to Matrix customers regarding installation, technical support, field service, training, and startup of all company industrial products and systems.
Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support in the form of troubleshooting on site or via phone.
Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of various products.
Oversee and support third-party installers during customers' installations.

The candidate will be required to work in various indoor and outdoor facilities.
Travel up to 75% and ability to work various shifts as required by customer.
Matrix employees are provided with and required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel toe shoes, reflective clothing, earplugs, and safety glasses.
The employee is occasionally required to stand
The candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work alone or in a small team.

We are currently seeking an Industrial Field Service Technician.
Test and troubleshoot system functions and train customers in operation and maintenance.
Coordinate service schedule with customers at various locations.
