About the role

  • The priorities of this position are to provide top-notch customer service and promote Matrix products.
  • This position is based out of our home office in Newburgh, IN.
  • This position reports to the Senior Manager of Field Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe.
  • The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing support to Matrix customers regarding installation, technical support, field service, training, and startup of all company industrial products and systems.
  • Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support in the form of troubleshooting on site or via phone.
  • Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of various products.
  • Oversee and support third-party installers during customers' installations.

Requirements

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • The candidate will be required to work in various indoor and outdoor facilities.
  • Travel up to 75% and ability to work various shifts as required by customer.
  • Matrix employees are provided with and required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel toe shoes, reflective clothing, earplugs, and safety glasses.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand
  • The candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work alone or in a small team.
