About the role

  • This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Pay: $ 52.02 - $52.02 hourly/Weekly pay The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Address and resolve building system malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor building management systems (BMS) to optimize energy usage and system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history.
  • Project Support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Support emergency preparedness initiatives and conduct drills as required.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Certifications:
  • EPA Universal Certification for refrigerants (preferred).
  • Relevant trade licenses or certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps per day while performing job duties, including escorting vendors and conducting site inspections.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and rooftops.
