About the role

The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure the safety, efficiency, and operational continuity of our facilities.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the maintenance team to address a variety of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues.

Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems and equipment.
Preventive Maintenance: Follow and document preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and prevent unexpected failures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Team Support: Collaborate with the maintenance team to address complex issues, provide technical expertise, and share best practices for efficient repairs.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry equipment/tools.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
Education: Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, or related field.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and equipment.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and maintenance logs.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
Basic knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to facility maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and facility equipment.
Proficiency with sewing machines, auto cutter/spreaders, paint systems, welders, or machining equipment.
Certification of safety or environmental regulations related to facility maintenance.
