Requirements
- Attend instructional classes as required.
- Ability to take and act upon verbal and written direction.
- Must have reliable transportation
- 5 years electrical work experience required.
- Must have a good work knowledge of the National Electrical Code
Nice to have
- Journeyman's license from any municipality preferred
Skills
- Positively identify colors of wires.
- Have strength to bend conduit by hand with hand/foot benders up to 1" trade size E.M.T.
- Ability to utilize all various power tools as required.
- Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
- Practice and comprehend safe work procedures per company policy.
- Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, work site directions and written instructions.
- Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered) with training.
- Adaptability to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or information.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, walk, lift and reach overhead.
- Complete overhead work for full-day assignments.
- Possess good vision (normal or corrected) in marginally lit areas.
- Demonstrate safe work habits, by following all safety policies and procedures Makes every effort to properly care for tools and equipment.
