Responsibilities
- Lead complex systems engineering efforts across multiple teams, subsystems, or program workstreams.
- Define and drive approaches related to requirements development, decomposition, interfaces, integration, verification, and technical planning.
- Lead resolution of complex cross-team issues involving requirements, dependencies, interfaces, integration, or mission alignment.
- Support system architecture thinking, technical roadmaps, and program tradeoff decisions.
- Maintain alignment across software, test, integration, and program teams to support successful delivery.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and technical leads across the team.
- Support technical shaping and evolving program needs through strong awareness of customer priorities, mission requirements, and execution risk.
Requirements
- Strong systems analysis skills and ability to work independently in complex, ambiguous technical environments.
- Experience with radar design, radar systems, RF environments, sensor systems, signal flow, tracking, or mission/sensor integration.
- Experience with system performance analysis, interface control documents, verification planning, and technical risk management for complex defense or mission systems.
- Experience with MBSE concepts and tools such as SysML, Cameo, DOORS, UML, or similar environments.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, radar, ISR, GEOINT, command-and-control, or other secure technical environments.
- Experience working in integrated product teams or Agile development environments where systems and software coordination is critical.

- This role works across ambiguous technical challenges, defines engineering approaches that others follow, and helps reduce technical risk across teams, subsystems, and program areas.
- Establish or improve systems engineering methods, structures, and best practices that strengthen execution quality.
- Identify technical risks, communicate tradeoffs, and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to mission-focused execution in secure, customer-driven environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant STEM field.
- 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
- Experience leading complex systems engineering efforts across integrated technical teams, subsystems, or program areas.
- Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, decomposition, interface definition, integration, verification, and technical planning.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $193,700.00 - $262,000.00 per year.
- The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
