About the role

  • Meet the team: The Autonomy Integration team ensures that all integration activities across the product development organization succeed.
  • In the world of complex robotic systems, unforeseen complications and responsibility gaps are inevitable.

Responsibilities

  • Implement solutions to close integration gaps and solve problems blocking integration progress
  • Design, implement, and execute tests to detect regressions and validate system stability
  • Drive cross functional alignment and prioritization by clear communication on integration issues and blockers
  • "Team-first" mentality with a strong desire to collaborate across organizational boundaries to untangle issues
  • Capacity to operate fluidly across levels of abstraction, moving comfortably from high-level system architecture design down to deep-in-the-weeds algorithmic debugging
  • Adoption/Surrogacy support program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
  • Strong software proficiency, particularly in python and C++

Skills

  • Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif.
