About the role
- Meet the team: The Autonomy Integration team ensures that all integration activities across the product development organization succeed.
- In the world of complex robotic systems, unforeseen complications and responsibility gaps are inevitable.
Responsibilities
- Implement solutions to close integration gaps and solve problems blocking integration progress
- Design, implement, and execute tests to detect regressions and validate system stability
- Drive cross functional alignment and prioritization by clear communication on integration issues and blockers
- "Team-first" mentality with a strong desire to collaborate across organizational boundaries to untangle issues
- Capacity to operate fluidly across levels of abstraction, moving comfortably from high-level system architecture design down to deep-in-the-weeds algorithmic debugging
- Adoption/Surrogacy support program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
- Strong software proficiency, particularly in python and C++

- Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif.
