About the role

  • PPG Aerospace is seeking an Entry Level Sealants Lab Technician at our Mojave facility!
  • Every batch of product that we produce requires someone like you to do testing.
  • You will work onsite at our Mojave, CA facility and report to the Sealants Lab Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all safety protocols and 5S initiatives and help to maintain the laboratory equipment and inventories.
  • Inspect, test, and perform evaluations on products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field preferred.
  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • The base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $55,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 2.5% of base salary. Nice to have

  • Digital literacy in ERP System (QAD preferred) and Microsoft office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field preferred.
  • Related technical certifications with coatings and sealants preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous experience working in a laboratory environment strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $55,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 2.5% of base salary.
