About the role

Our company is seeking a Senior Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) estimator with industrial construction experience.

Perform conceptual estimates based on limited drawings and specifications.
Create scope of work, clarifications and exclusions write-up for proposals.
Provide innovative solutions to complex issues as they arise related to cost, lead-times, trade partners, and/or specified products or materials.
Occasionally perform a site visit.
Identify, adapt to, and resolve complex issues and create innovative approaches and solutions on a project-by-project basis.
Coordinate estimates with other building disciplines, i.e., electrical, mechanical and plumbing.

Must be able to coordinate estimate with other building disciplines.
Conceptual estimating experience required.
Knowledge of Division 1 - 14 CSI master formats.

Required to have experience preparing detailed estimates as the design evolves, develop variance summaries between estimates and value engineering studies throughout.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have experience with the bidding process: soliciting bids, communicating with bidders, evaluating subcontractor proposals, using bid tally sheets, etc.
Minimum Ten (10) years' industrial construction or commercial estimating experience.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or another technical field preferred.
