Responsibilities
- Component Design Engineer
- Support creation of detailed component definition (drawings and/or model-based definition) and support manufacturing to produce conforming hardware.
- With guidance, create component requirements documents for owned hardware and hardware design concepts and perform trade studies to optimize hardware.
- These include bonuses, employee support assistance and employee discounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of design experience
- Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- To be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen
- Knowledge and experience with gas turbine components and sub-system design, including materials, structural analysis, dynamics, and aerothermal methods
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and the creation of limit stacks
- Familiarity with engine assembly and testing

- $98,566 - $160,169-Annually
