About the role

This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, with a strong focus on month-end and quarter-end close processes, accruals, payroll accounting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Manage Open PO accrual process, including reporting, stakeholder coordination, and variance analysis
Prepare and analyze payroll-related entries across U.S. and Canada entities, including bi-weekly processing support
Partner with Procurement, Payroll, and SEC Reporting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
Support audit requests and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
Cerence AI is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to support our global finance organization.
As Cerence looks to the future and continues an ambitious growth agenda, we need someone to join the team and help build the future of voice and AI in cars.

5+ years of relevant public accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or tech-driven environment
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting
Experience with payroll, commissions, and intercompany accounting

The expected salary range for this position is $83,800 - $125,700 USD.
The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors.
