About the role
- The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operational tasks related to administration of US health and welfare benefit plans. Under the direction of the Global Benefits Manager, Health and Welfare, the Benefits Coordinator ensures accurate benefit enroll-ments, timely processing of qualifying life events, and integrity of benefits data across
- sys-tems and vendors. The Benefits Coordinator also serves as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrections proactively
- Manage Qualifying Life Event (QLE) requests, including documentation review, eligibility determination, and system updates
- Monitor and support new hire and open enrollment activities, including system configuration, testing, and data validation
- Partner with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate premium deductions and employer contributions
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with data auditing, reporting, and reconciliation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

- Support system updates, file feeds, and integrations with benefits providers
- Track and report on benefits-related expenses as needed
- Serve as the primary contact for US HR and US employees' benefit inquiries
- Identify opportunities to improve benefit administration processes and employee experience
- Administer U.S. benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, flexible spending and voluntary plans
