About the role
- Supply Chain Manager - Commodity Management.
- Wasabi Technologies is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager - Commodity Management to join our growing Operations team.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong supplier management experience, market intelligence, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies for technology hardware categories including storage, servers, networking equipment, and related components.
- Manage supplier relationships, lead supplier business reviews, and track performance against KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capacity, and pricing conditions to support sourcing decisions and reduce supply chain risk.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to support new product introductions, product transitions, and long-term supply planning.
- Drive cost savings initiatives through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and supply base optimization strategies.
- Support supply and capacity planning activities, including forecasting, allocation management, and coordination with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or commodity management within a technology or hardware-focused environment.
- Experience managing technology commodities such as storage systems, servers, networking equipment, or hardware components.
- Experience supporting supply planning, forecasting, supplier performance management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation
- Base Salary - $100,000 - 150,000
- The base salary range reflects the full range for this position at Wasabi Technologies.
