Responsibilities

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures issued by Coastal Chemical Co & client(s).
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Manage and maintain our Hazardous Waste/Quarantine area. Including, proper labeling and classifying of hazardous waste items and coordinate pick-up with our hazardous waste vendors.

Skills

  • Education and Experience:
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
  • Proficient level of skill in Microsoft Office.
  • Possess good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Possess good written/oral communication skills.
