About the role

Provide field coordination and oversight to traffic signal crew.
This position is responsible for overall safety, materials, reporting, leadership, employee communication, and productivity measures.

Supervise, train, and develop work crews, provide input and assist crews when needed in operating other equipment and/or assist the laborers out in the field
Maintain a safe worksite and enforce safe work practices by following company rules and OSHA regulations, leading crew pre-task planning, addressing employee concerns, and hazard abatement
Perform safety inspections of crew and equipment, provide feedback, stop any unsafe work (stop work authority), and complete reports as necessary, Near Misses, Incident/Accident Reports, etc.
Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks involving dexterous use of hand tools such as pneumatic, electric, and hand tools
Good communication skills and the ability to manage and interact in a team environment

May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling
Write any necessary reports, complete forms, post job related information on computer, find job information on computer as required and directed
Must be able to work safely outdoors in Arizona heat conditions and perform all job duties with no restrictions.

Required Skills & Abilities
5+ years of experience in traffic signal installation
Must have flexibility in personal schedule including weekdays and occasional night and weekend work

Inspect company vehicle for proper operating conditions, proper security, and proper stock of materials, both pre- and post-trip
High School diploma or equivalent education
