About the role

NWACC offers a full range of associate degrees, certificates and workforce training programs that prepare students for rewarding futures and careers.
The instructor is responsible for coordinating and implementing Career Education/WAGE And IET Services.
This is a ten-month salaried position and reports to the Dean of Adult Education.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and college

Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete work independently while managing multiple instructional, advising, reporting, and partnership responsibilities
Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare required reports, protect confidential information, and ensure work is completed with attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of adult education instruction, career pathways, workforce readiness, and integrated education and training practices

Create and deliver instruction in foundational academic skills and integrated digital, financial, and health literacy to support student success in career pathways and workforce preparation
Administer, score, and interpret student assessments; use assessment data to provide individualized instruction; and maintain accurate student records in program data management and learning management systems
Prepare required internal and external reports; participate in Adult Education, NWACC, and Workforce Services meetings; complete required professional development and program training
