  • Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Planning & Tracking based in the United States.
  • In this highly impactful role, you will lead the design and evolution of scalable planning and tracking solutions that help engineering teams manage work seamlessly alongside code.
  • The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to mentor teams, define architectural direction, and deliver intuitive user experiences at global scale.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of highly scalable planning and tracking solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity for developers worldwide.
  • Architect, prototype, and implement customer-facing features, including AI-powered capabilities that improve project management workflows and user experiences.
  • Drive technical strategy and long-term platform investments by identifying foundational improvements in scalability, reliability, and system performance.
  • Author architectural proposals, conduct technical research, and validate new approaches through experimentation and prototyping.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product leadership to define priorities, shape roadmaps, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C#, Java, Rust, or similar technologies.
  • At least 4+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Solid background in modern web technologies and development frameworks, with experience in technologies such as React, Go, C#, or relational databases considered highly valuable.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing AI-powered products or integrating AI capabilities into software platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $140,400 to $372,300 annually, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
