Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system - reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility.
You'll oversee a team of technicians who are responsible for keeping Symbotic's advanced infrastructure running - including automated adapters, vertical lifts, conveyor systems, and a fleet of autonomous robotic vehicles.
This role blends hands-on leadership with a focus on process, accountability, and continuous improvement across all mechanical, electrical, PLC, and electronic systems.

Drive initiatives to reduce equipment downtime, improve production reliability, and eliminate waste.
Conduct safety training and perform regular safety observations to promote a strong safety culture.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities.
Coach team members and actively support their professional development and performance growth.
Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to support maintenance goals.
Purchase materials, parts, and supplies to maintain proper inventory levels and equipment availability.
Maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
Symbotic is seeking an Automation Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance operations at one of our customer distribution center sites.

High sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches.
Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 60lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.

Associate degree, equivalent certification, or relevant hands-on experience in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a year of experience in related field required
bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role preferred.
Proficiency with CMMS platforms - Maximo experience preferred.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $87,000.00 - $119,900.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
