Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain accurate credit data within tracking, reporting, and database systems.
  • Support risk management efforts by proactively identifying potential credit exposure and minimizing loss.
  • Build, maintain, and utilize databases and analytical tools to support portfolio analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, economics, accounting and finance
  • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.

Skills

  • Prepare clear, well-documented credit analyses and reports for stakeholders responsible for new loan approvals, renewals, and extensions.
  • In certain areas, independently make credit decisions within a high-volume production environment.
  • Monitor customer accounts and loan portfolios to identify emerging risks, credit issues, or adverse trends.
