Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation into CI pipelines to support continuous quality validation
- Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations
- Incorporate AI tools into the test pipeline to support shifting automation earlier in the development process.
- Identify gaps in existing workflows and implement iterative improvements to frameworks, standards, and testing practices
- Perform Code Reviews of Automation Engineers tests to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to standards
- Design and execute test strategies across functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation development using JavaScript or TypeScript, including hands-on experience with Playwright.
- 3+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
- Experience with Mobile automation with Appium
- Experience with project and test management tools (e.g. Jira/Zephyr)
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrate expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles
- Superior communication and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience mentoring test team members
- Experience working in a cross-team environment (e.g. manual and automation testers)
- Experience reporting progress and results to stakeholders

This role builds and enhances scalable automation frameworks and integrates automated testing into CI pipelines to support continuous quality validation across platform and device functionality. The SDET works closely with developers and QA team members to embed automation into the development lifecycle, design and execute test strategies across functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing, and perform code reviews to ensure automation quality and consistency.
