About the role

  • Will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products offered to financial institutions and sold to their members during the auto loan origination process.
  • Will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Will also be responsible for monitoring product performance and driving continuous improvement to ensure product growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer research and analysis to inform product decisions, reporting findings to senior management to help drive client advisory board discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Develop and mentor junior members of the product team.
  • Collaborates with expense stakeholders to ensure the product maintains a healthy net income.
  • Create active corrective items in Sales Force as indicated by Senior Management, monitor and report status to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Data Solutions and partner with Sales & Account Management to deliver meaningful and actionable performance analysis to Key Clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in product management and development, preferably within the consumer lending, credit union or banking sectors.
  • Strong understanding of auto and loan protection products such as GAP, warranties, and prepaid maintenance.
  • Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.
