About the role

  • We are looking for a sharp, tenacious, and creative Field Engineer to help with the development and implementation of AgZen's product portfolio.
  • This role is at the intersection of agrochemical spraying, science, and engineering.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment following safety guidelines, while maintaining detailed field records along the way
  • Collaborate with AgZen's technical team and manufacturing team to communicate customer needs

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in agronomy, crop sciences, mechanical engineering, environmental science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a related field
  • Ability to understand and interact with agricultural equipment and technology
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in heat and humidity
  • You are passionate, genuinely curious, and innovative
  • You have unwavering personal integrity and work ethic
  • You are proactive, productive, and complete tasks promptly
  • You are adaptable and excel working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to have

  • Previous field experience is a plus for this position.
