About the role

  • We are looking to fill a future vacancy for an Automation Technician (Equipment Owner) to join our team in Brantford, Ontario at our Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre (GTFC) starting in August 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment including but not limited to autonomous robots responsible for case, layer and/or pallet movements

Requirements

  • Ability to flex, extend, and rotate neck
  • The ability to work at heights & climb stairs/ladders/platforms, etc., on and around equipment.
  • The ability to meet the requirements of safe operation and personal safety, including wearing PPE and the ability to respond appropriately to various visual and audible alarms and signals
  • The ability to enter and work in enclosed areas.
  • The ability to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold, generally in warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperature, dust and dirt.
  • Ability to position & move cases of product, bottles, connect hoses, handle glass flasks and bottles, etc. (may include grasping)
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or diploma from a
  • Must be able to work shift work (Evenings, Overnight, early mornings) and potentially rotate between evenings, nights, and day shifts
  • Ability to work at heights, climb stairs/ladders/platforms, etc., and climb on and around equipment
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Applied mechanical skills in an industrial environment and experience with electrical, digital/software, and robotics is an asset
  • S t r o n g t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g, problem-solving, issue resolution, and root cause analysis
  • Minimum d'un diplôme d'études secondaires ou d'un diplôme d'une école de métiers ou d'un collège technique dans l'un des domaines suivants: Électricité, Mécanique, Automatisation, Robotique, Ingénierie et Numérique/Logiciels.
  • Doit être capable de travailler par quarts (soir, nuit, tôt le matin) et potentiellement de faire une rotation entre les quarts de soir, de nuit et de jour.
  • Capacité à travailler en hauteur, à monter des escaliers/échelles/plateformes, etc., et à monter et se déplacer sur et autour de l'équipement.
