About the role
- This is not a classic CTO role and not a pure CPO role.
Responsibilities
- The CPTO will own Nira's product roadmap and execution, manage a VP of Engineering, a VP of Transmission Planning, and our individual Product Leads.
Requirements
- Senior product or technical leadership experience in complex B2B software
- Strong product judgment and track record of execution: you can turn ambiguity into plans, owners, milestones, and shipped product
- Ability to quickly learn a highly niche / complex domain
- Experience managing product teams, engineering teams, or cross-functional technical teams
- Comfort partnering closely with founders while progressively taking ownership of product strategy and roadmap
Nice to have
- Development of product roadmap and execution across Product, Engineering, and Transmission Planning
- Translation of customer, market, and founder insight into product strategy, priorities, and execution plans

- We are looking for a Chief Product & Technology Officer to lead Nira's Product, Engineering, and Transmission Planning organization.
- Ultimately this role will be responsible for building the function that helps the company scale product development with speed and quality from end to end.
