About the role
- This includes communicating near misses, following up on near miss action items, performing safety audits and participating on the Plant Health & Safety Review board.
- Leadership of safety subcommittees is expected. - Monitor material flow and adjust work force accordingly.
- Monitor the training progress of all new associates and report to Warehouse Managers. - Participate in monthly safety program activities.
Responsibilities
- Leading the warehouse to build and maintain a culture of safety.
- Perform audits to ensure proper management of inventory and conformance to standard procedures.
- Know and possess the ability to perform all of the standard procedures related to the material attendant job.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the Warehouse.
Requirements
- Associates must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
- Associates must meet all the minimum qualifications outlined on the job bid.
