About the role

  • This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex issues, cross departmental inquiries and workflow challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Loan Processing team, through coaching, performance management, and ongoing training to ensure accuracy, efficiency, career growth and team engagement.
  • Oversee daily operational workflow across all loan processing activities, including due diligence collection, document preparation, and disclosures, ensuring SLA adherence and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable banking and lending regulations, partnering with Compliance and Risk to update procedures and support audits and examinations.
  • Maintain and oversee department policies, procedures, and job aids, ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and consistently followed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, such as lending, credit, compliance, operations, and finance to ensure smooth end‑to‑end loan lifecycle support.
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including process optimization, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
  • Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • 5-7 years of loan processing or loan operations experience.
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of loan documentation, disclosures, and due diligence.
  • Experience managing workflows, SLAs, and operational performance.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation

  • $86,000 - $138,000/YR *Actual offer will be based on experience, location, education, and/or skills*
