About the role

  • Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiology Team!
  • The Cardiology Advanced Practice (APP) is responsible for delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in collaboration with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Order, interpret and act upon diagnostic studies (ECGs, echocardiograms, stress test, cardiac imaging, labs).

Responsibilities

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation in system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessment, including history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions (e.g., coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular disease).
  • Maintain current knowledge of cardiology best practices and emerging therapies.
  • Clinical Care: Conduct patient evaluation, diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within scope of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to manage complex patients in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

  • Degree - Certificate Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Strong Clinical Assessment and diagnostic skills, proficiency in interpreting cardiac diagnostics, excellent communication abilities.
  • To help ensure a safe and healthful working environment, each applicant to whom an offer of employment has been made will be required as a condition of employment to undergo a substance test.
  • Additional pre-employment items may be required.
  • Advanced Practice - Certified Registered Nurse First Assist
  • MT State License - NP or PA
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and must obtain ATLS and NBP within 6 months
  • Preferred two years or more of advance practice provider experience in a cardiology department caring for patients of all age spectrums and developmental levels. Strong Clinical Assessment and diagnostic skills, proficiency in interpreting cardiac diagnostics, excellent communication abilities.
