About the role
- Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The University of Maryland Eastern Shore invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
- This is a part-time, non-tenure-track, position.
- Licenses/ Certifications: •Current NCCPA certification. •Current license or eligibility for licensing as a physician assistant in the State of Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise course content, including syllabi, lecture materials (e.g.,

Requirements
- The normal requirement is a Master's degree in the field of instruction or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the field of instruction.
- The successful candidate must be able to show acceptable documentation establishing the right to accept employment in the United States of America without employer sponsorship.
- Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.
- Other: A board-certified Doctor of Medicine/Osteopathy with a full unrestricted
- MD license or eligibility to obtain such a licensure in the State of Maryland. OR
- Non-clinician Scientist or Health Professional with the following: Doctoral
- degree in a health or science related field.
- Physical Demands:
- May require extended periods of standing, bending, sitting at desk.
- May require lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Requires communication with a variety of constituents externally and internally.
- Requires operation of a variety of office equipment.
