About the role
- The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician has specialized knowledge in pharmaceutical nomenclature, medical terminology and mathematical calculations involving dilution of concentrates, weights and measures and ratios.
Responsibilities
- The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician works under the direction and supervision of a pharmacist, performs those duties which do not require the professional training and judgment of a pharmacist.
- The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician consistently performs and builds on prior knowledge gained from performance as a Pharmacy Assistant and National Certification requirements.
- Candidate must possess and maintain active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Skills
- in aseptic compounding of intravenous medications are validated using competency-based training as a frequent quality control audits.
- Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED plus one year of post high school
- education or relevant work experience required.

Compensation
- Salary Range: Min $22.28 Mid $28.69 Max $35.10
