- ALS Environmental Full Time Field Technician This position is for an entry level field technician working for ALS Environmental out of the Rochester laboratory.
Requirements
- Ability to think on their feet
- Must be insurable with a clean (no points) driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- To be eligible to work at ALS you must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa.

- This position is for an entry level field technician working for ALS Environmental out of the Rochester laboratory.
- This work is normally performed with modified Level D safety requirements (street clothes plus safety glasses, nitrile gloves and steel toed boots).
- These sampling projects occur at many larger industrial clients, MSWLFs and municipal sites throughout NYS.
- Most scope of work is mandated by the NYSDEC, USEPA or local County Agencies.
- Daily activities are almost exclusively outdoors 12 months out of the year and candidates must be willing to deal with changing conditions.
