About the role
- One Federal Solution (OFS) seeks an experienced Continuity Subject Matter Expert to support our Department of State, Office of Emergency Management (OEM) customer. The selected candidate will support the Department's Continuity of Operations (COOP) and emergency management programs by assisting in the development, implementation, maintenance, and execution
- of continuity planning initiatives. This role supports the Department's ability to sustain essential functions during emergencies through planning, training, exercises, and operational preparedness. Continuity Subject Matter Expert Key Responsibilities Support the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) continuity and emergency management mission requirements.
Nice to have
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) certification.
- Completion of FEMA Emergency Management Institute coursework related to emergency management, emergency planning, Continuity of Operations (COOP), or Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA).
- Experience supporting the U.S. Department of State or another Federal emergency management organization.
- OFS specializes in Business Intelligence, Acquisition and Procurement, Emergency Management, and other Professional Services.
- Assist in the development and delivery of Continuity Briefings and Emergency Response Group (ERG) training for Department personnel and senior leadership.
- Support emergency operations during real-world incidents and National Special Security Events (NSSE), including extended 24/7 contingency operations when required.
- Continuity Subject Matter Expert Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience performing continuity planning, emergency management, or related duties.
- Experience supporting Continuity of Operations (COOP), continuity planning, emergency management, or organizational resilience programs.
Visa & Work Authorization
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
