Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the core real-time collaborative editing experience using CRDTs and WebSockets
- Optimize frontend performance so the editor feels fast and responsive at scale
- Collaborate with designers to implement high-quality UI interactions and visual details
- Design APIs with backend engineers to power seamless collaboration and content creation
- 3+ years building production web applications with strong fundamentals in JavaScript, React, and modern web development
- You'll shape how users interact with AI-generated content in real time, working closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver experiences that feel fast, polished, and magical.
Requirements
- Experience with real-time collaborative systems, WebSockets, or similar technologies, and familiarity with CRDTs or operational transformation for collaborative editing
Compensation
- The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K - $310K plus benefits & equity.
