About the role

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and verification of the Quality activities in the Flightline phase, starting from the milestone FOT in the FAL to the final delivery to the customer.
  • This 180-day program allows transitioning service members to leverage their military technical expertise in a high-precision aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive aircraft testing, evaluate results, and document tests and discrepancies within the Airbus Log Book (ALB).
  • Provide technical support and execute troubleshooting (T/S) for aircraft avionic systems.
  • Document non-conformities in the Airbus Log Book (ALB) and initiate a Repeat Test Instruction (RTI) following completion of rework.
  • FAA Part 145 Repair Station Inspector 5 % Conduct aircraft testing, evaluate, and document test results and discrepancies within the Part 145 Work Package.
  • Manage the Part 145 Work Package and issue the official Release to Service (RTS).
  • This includes the demonstration of aircraft system integrity, conformity with design specifications, and verification of Ground Test Instructions (GTI).
  • Airbus is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner (per DoDI 1322.29).

Requirements

  • Must have current work authorization for U.S. positions.
  • Execute all required ground checks (static system tests, APU run, low and high power engine run, low speed taxi, and compass swing) strictly in accordance with the Production Aircraft Test Manual (PATM).
