About the role

  • The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets at assigned Bay Area client sites.
  • What stays constant is the standard: alert, accountable, and visibly professional security operations that protect our clients and represent the GS3 brand at every post.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence at the assigned client site throughout the shift.
  • Document activity, observations, and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and incident reports.
  • Opportunities for advancement into lead, supervisor, and specialty roles.

Requirements

  • Active California Guard Card (BSIS): Required at time of application.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to assigned Bay Area sites.
  • Required at time of application.

Nice to have

  • Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Customer service experience in a professional or corporate environment.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
  • Physical and Schedule Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb stairs and respond quickly to incidents across the site.
  • Availability for varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to GS3 uniform and grooming standards.
