About the role
- Assists students in their individual growth through observation, feedback, and the application of student development theory.
- Assists in analyzing and summarizing programmatic data for review and assessment purposes.
- Provides basic program information to students, faculty, staff, and public.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, organizes, updates, and maintains program records, files, manuals and or documentation.
- Creates original correspondence, reports, presentations, documents, and program materials.
- Creates grade graphs for MSPEs; upload MSPE's into ERAS.
- Manage graduation clearances; creates and manages class rank letters.
- Interprets and develops university/departmental rules and procedures.
- I nitiates, develops, and sustains strong positive relations with departmental leadership to ensure achievement of the mission and goals of the university/department.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, professional development seminars and other student support related meetings.
- Serves as a role model, mentor, and source of support for a highly competitive academic program.
Requirements
- Four years of program coordination, program development, or closely related experience
- Four or more years' experience in planning and implementing student development programs and activities
- Experience with academic advising
- Experience coordinating a tutoring program
- Knowledge of TAMUS policies and procedures
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications

Compensation
- Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.
- 12-15 days of annual paid holidays
