- Keystone, a subsidiary of the Ensign Group is looking for a Licensed Social Worker for Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- This tailored approach allows each patient the ability to achieve their highest level of functioning prior to returning home or to their previous level of care.
Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to leadership partners.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the identification of medically related social and emotional needs of the resident.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Social Worker
- Must have, as a minimum, 1 year of supervised social work experience in a skilled nursing/ long term care setting working directly with individuals.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing social service.
Nice to have
- Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care a PLUS
Compensation
- Review department policies and procedures, at least annually, and participate in making recommended changes.
