About the role

  • DESCRIPTION Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Maintenance Repair Technician (MRT), where you'll be essential in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing PLC-controlled conveyor and baggage systems (BHS).
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems to ensure smooth airport operations.
  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain related controls equipment, components, and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • 1-2 years' maintenance experience
  • Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors.
  • Familiarity with Airport operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • While performing the duties of an Maintenance Repair Technician, the employee is regularly required to stand
  • This role requires mechanical and electrical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various equipment to ensure airport operations run efficiently.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and CMMS software.
