About the role
- You will work on the front lines of our 5GW facility, performing preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting on advanced robotics and manufacturing systems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with Engineering and Operations, you will ensure our equipment runs at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Master the structure and working principle of factory production equipment and facilities and learn and improve their own equipment maintenance skills and level.
- Support in repairing any problems associated with new equipment.
- Maintain the equipment to prolong the longevity of service life and improve its utilization rate.
- Perform other duties and special project, as assigned by management.
- T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, inspection and test equipment.
- Ability to use data analysis tools such as MS Excel and other applications.
- If you can hold the line and have a sense of humor, you'll fit right in.
- Dedicated and strive to achieve, hardworking and reliable, be able to adapt to shifts and work well under pressure.
- Employment Type & Schedule:
- Full-Time, Hourly
- Shifts may include day, night, weekend, or rotating schedules, depending on operational needs.

Nice to have
- Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical), familiarity with solar modules or semiconductors combined with relevant work experience is preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (with photovoltaic industry preferred).
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and automation components preferred.
