We're looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to join the platform team at Zus which builds our core data services. The ideal candidate will be excited to take on the challenge of processing, storing and delivering the entire health records of millions of patients, providing low latency and high-availability for all operations. You are creative, innovative and think deeply about both the technical problems and business problems our customers are facing. The Platform team has needed to rapidly innovate to stay ahead of data volumes that grow at 10x per year and a growing base of data-savvy customers using Zus to improve patient care. The team is also contending with an evolving regulatory landscape in data privacy and security. Expect to learn a lot and be put on mission-critical projects with direct customer impact. The Platform team is at the heart of everything at Zus. You will work on data services that operate on large scale data using a variety of AWS services (Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc) and use data storage technologies such as DynamoDB, postgres, iceberg, elasticsearch and others. You will also work on RESTful and GraphQL APIs that are used both internally and externally. Go is our language of choice and the team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and operating its pipelines and services.
