About the role
- Coordinate transmittals/submittals (internal and external clients) and track progress through review/approval cycles.
- Monitor compliance and follow up on overdue or incomplete documentation.
- Help define retention and disposition schedules aligned with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer DMS/EDMS:
- configure systems, manage users/permissions, and maintain metadata standards.
- Design scalable document control processes tailored to project size and complexity; also ensure document control adds value without creating unnecessary administrative burden.
- Manage the full document lifecycle from creation through revisions, archiving and disposal in accordance with company policies, project procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain document integrity:
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing documents (drawings, specs, contracts, reports).
- Develop and enforce document control procedures, workflows, templates, and taxonomies.
- Perform quality checks for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before release.
Requirements
- Experience with change management processes, technical drawing revisions, and product data/documentation.
Nice to have
- Prolonged sitting and standing Walking Traveling by car and airplane Lifting <20+ lbs. unassisted Preferred Qualifications Experience in engineering, construction, industrial, or highly regulated industries.
Compensation
- $100k-$140k
