About the role
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Follow individual service plans (ISPs) to ensure the care and development of each person.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care, including monitoring their physical and emotional health.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in participating in community activities, encouraging social interactions, and fostering personal growth.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals, helping to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
- Adhere to all company policies and state regulations regarding the care and support of individuals.
Requirements
- Must be available for *afterschool hours and weekends*
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a clean and valid driving record and be able to drive individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice to have
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
