About the role

  • Source actively and creatively rather than waiting on inbound, and find the people who were the responsible engineer for something that shipped.
  • Stand up the recruiting operation: ATS hygiene in Ashby, a simple metrics dashboard, and a repeatable process the team can run.

Responsibilities

  • Build a real sourcing engine, finding and engaging passive candidates instead of working the inbound queue.
  • We have an oversubscribed seed round led by Andresan Horowitz, a contract to win in months, and more than fifteen roles to fill with people who can build hardware that actually ships.
  • Hiring is the highest-leverage problem at the company right now, and you own it.
  • Sovereignty is built, not declared - come build it with us.

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting at a hardware or defense startup, or agency work placing engineers and technicians.
  • Familiarity with ITAR and EAR hiring constraints and cleared talent pools.
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR/EAR), applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

Compensation

  • $80,000-$150,000 base + founding-team equity sized for the role + benefits. If you're an outlier, we'll pay like it.
