About the role
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona campus is accepting applications for a non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Intelligence Studies to teach intelligence courses to students in the Global Security and Intelligence program.
Requirements
- Required Education and Qualifications:
- The successful candidate should have a master's degree or Ph.D. in intelligence studies, security studies, political science, international relations or a related field and 5 years of work experience as an intelligence analyst in the intelligence community or military.

Nice to have
- The successful candidate will teach students international relations, US foreign policy, the intelligence community, strategic intelligence, the intelligence cycle and intelligence analysis, writing, and briefing.
- Prior experience working in the intelligence community is strongly preferred.
- As a faculty candidate, you should demonstrate excellence in teaching upper and lower level undergraduate courses.
- In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for university service such as mentoring and committee service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communications skills and a strong command of the English language are required.

Compensation
- Retirement Contributions: ERAU contributes 6% of your base salary to your retirement plan and offers a 4% matching contribution – with no vesting period.
