About the role

  • These projects are currently focused on respectful care and safe reduction of nulliparous, term, singleton, vertex (NTSV) cesarean births and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) family-centered care.
  • Conditions of Employment Grant funded position.

Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will contribute to program coordination activities to support evidence-based and informed practice changes in participating NYS birthing facilities to improve perinatal outcomes.
  • Experience in assisting with developing and coordinating reports for key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Minimum Qualifications

Nice to have

  • Experience with assisting in the coordination and/or organization of a large-scale project.
  • Experience working with hospital providers.
  • Conditions of Employment
  • Grant funded position.
  • Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time will be required.

Compensation

  • Positions with a designated work location in New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time positions).
  • Minimum: $69,764.00 - Maximum: $69,764.00 Annually

  • Experience in maternal and child health.
  • Experience assisting with the development of educational strategies, resources and/or materials.
  • Master's degree in public health or a related field.
