About the role
- These projects are currently focused on respectful care and safe reduction of nulliparous, term, singleton, vertex (NTSV) cesarean births and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) family-centered care.
- Conditions of Employment Grant funded position.
Responsibilities
- The incumbent will contribute to program coordination activities to support evidence-based and informed practice changes in participating NYS birthing facilities to improve perinatal outcomes.
- Experience in assisting with developing and coordinating reports for key stakeholders.
Requirements
- OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience
- A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
- Minimum Qualifications
Nice to have
- Experience with assisting in the coordination and/or organization of a large-scale project.
- Experience working with hospital providers.
- Conditions of Employment
- Grant funded position.
- Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
- Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Travel up to 25% of the time will be required.
Compensation
- Positions with a designated work location in New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time positions).
- Minimum: $69,764.00 - Maximum: $69,764.00 Annually

- This will include: assisting with the coordination of project activities, team meetings, educational webinars with stakeholders and virtual/in-person events

- Experience in maternal and child health.
- Experience assisting with the development of educational strategies, resources and/or materials.
- Master's degree in public health or a related field.
